raw-schedule
Finally sat my ass down and drew up a crash-training schedule for Raw. Considering I haven’t done any running or cycling worthy of mention for a long while, I’d be glad just to complete in one piece.

Jeez, me and my bright ideas…

Not quite Chicago River, but Singapore River will have to do. Here’s to many more pints and talking a bit funny. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

Paul McCartney has a new record to add to his success list – fastest ticket sell-out ever. His show on April 19 at Las Vegas’ New Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has sold all 4,000 tickets in a record seven seconds. That adds up to a rate of 600 seats per second.

Today was D-Day for our long-overdue adventure. After lunch, we headed to the dodgy-looking Taiwanese joint down the road. Expecting a foul stench to follow as we slid open the door, I was somewhat relieved that the odour was practically nonexistent. Little did I know what I was in for.

This lighthearted moment however, did not last very long. Soon Duck emerged with a pack of take-away in hand, and I caught a whiff of it. I had second thoughts. It smelt like the drain.

After some deliberation and much hesitation, I took a bite of it – my first and last – and spat it out. It tasted like something one might find between the toes of a street urchin. I kid you not. I’m still very much disturbed by the fact that people actually eat this.
