Over the past few days the weather has been going bonkers. From sunny to rainy to windstormy to blazing hot and humid with not a sign of breeze. And being the closet treehugger, my air-conditioning is usually at a safe 25`C. Bearable.
The week gone by however, saw a different story. After all that Geocaching in the day, 20`C became the norm. Yet i still woke up kicking away the duvet.
MAKE IT STOP!

So I was really looking forward to the Uniqlo store for the past year. And when it finally did open yesterday, the crowd was bazoinkers! In fact the crowd at the entire mall was unheard of. Get this. You had to freakin’ QUEUE to get on the ESCALATOR! Not just any old queue, mind you. We’re talking 4D Outlet-grade queues!
And the traffic was not any better. And what’s the deal with putting three malls shoulder-to-shoulder?! Jeez. I just couldn’t get myself to join in. We left in like three minutes.
Think I’ll probably go back in three months time, while I nurse my state of shock.

So I decided to stay home today after busy days for the past week and a killer weekend. Don’t get me wrong, parties and dinners and meet-ups are really much fun, but it can take quite a toll on the body. Or maybe I’m just getting old…
Anyways I’m working from home, in front of the TV, whom I seriously need to get reacquainted with. Then I realised there isn’t much to watch in the mornings anymore! Whatever happened to cartoon mornings?! So i surfed through the channels and schedules. Jon & Kate plus 8! Not in a half hour though. Went to make some instant noodles with pesto(you should try!). Not enough basil in the pot so put some coriander and loaded the garlic, then no cheese so finished with tomatoes, mustard, balsamic and EVO. Bliss.
Okay, gotta go catch my new favourite show in the telly with lunch!

So I’m in the middle of Bishan Park, away from much of any form of electronic technology, apart from the lamps on the sidewalk. Or so I thought. Who knew there’d be wireless! And it’s even faster than that of mine(or my neighbour’s)! Lazing under a tree, now I could get used to this.

Now where’s that power socket…

Don’t you hate it when it feels like there’s a chainsaw in your throat?
